Even now in mid-April an unexpected heatwave – that’s really very early indeed – is making the lives of many city-dwellers difficult. They want nothing better than to leave work, escape the stifling city air and to enjoy the great weather by the sea, and in the countryside.
Santa Maria di Leuca is the ideal place to find all this: sea that’s always as blue as the sky, and clear and cool; and lovely, quiet beaches.
